The Bermuda food tour walks Hamilton, the capital, for three hours and feeds you as it goes, with tastings at several eateries adding up to lunch. The history walk is private: your own guide through the Town of St. George, founded in 1612 and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the venues' admission paid.

Which should you pick? If you want to eat well and hear how Bermudians live now, take the food walk: Hamilton is the working capital, with Front Street's shops and the harbour at its feet. If you want the island's beginnings, take the history walk: St. George's, founded in 1612, is on the UNESCO list as the earliest English town in the New World, and the walk goes inside its church and museums. On a two-day call you can do both.
Both walks start far from the cruise pier. Hamilton is a 15- to 20-minute ferry from the Dockyard, and St. George's a 45-minute ferry in season.
